The Age-Friendly Assessment is designed to better understand the real, lived experiences of adults aged 60 and older who live in Lackawanna County. The primary purpose of this assessment is not to simply identify what new programs or resources are needed, but rather to gain a clearer picture of:

• What programs, services, and resources currently exist in Lackawanna County.
• How well older adults are aware of and utilizing those programs.
• How effective those programs feel from the perspective of the people who use them.
• Where gaps exist between available resources and actual use or accessibility.

The data collected will be used to support a stronger, more responsive system for older adults in Lackawanna County. This includes:

• Working directly with organizations to improve programs and outreach.
• Partnering with county leadership to improve resource utilization and coordination.
• Advocating for policy changes or legislation that better support aging adults.
• Guiding future Age-Friendly and Dementia-Friendly initiatives countywide.

Participants who complete the assessment can enter into a raffle to win a $500 Gerrity's gift card!
